The Tamiya Mini Cooper 1.3i is a 1:12 scale plastic model assembly kit recreating the iconic compact car. The Mini first appeared in 1959, with the Mini Cooper introduced in 1961 following tuning by British racing figure John Cooper. The Mini Cooper was later revived in 1990 with a 1.3-litre engine, followed by fuel injection from 1991.

This large-scale model captures the Mini’s distinctive two-box shape and includes details such as the 1.3-litre inline-four engine, radiator, air cleaner and suspension. The hinged bonnet can be opened after assembly to display the engine and associated components.

The interior features the dashboard, front and rear seats, door trims, window regulators and large door pockets. Metal-plated wheels are paired with semi-pneumatic tyres to complete the exterior.

The kit also includes updated decals with an additional roof Union Jack, along with masking stickers
