Pounce is a fast-paced card game of wordplay and quick reactions, designed for 2 to 6 players aged 8 and up. With simple rules and energetic gameplay, it is ideal for family game nights, social gatherings, and players who enjoy competitive word games.

The gameplay is easy to learn. A category card is flipped and letter cards are dealt out. Players must quickly spot a valid word that matches the category using one of the available letters, shout it out, and grab the letter. Speed is key, as the slowest player may miss out if all the letters are taken. The game continues until a player successfully forms a five letter word from the letters they have collected to win the game.

This set includes 80 cards along with rules, providing everything needed to start playing. The game is plastic free, making it a practical choice for those looking for lower packaging impact while still enjoying engaging tabletop gameplay.
