The Airfix Consolidated B-24 Liberator 1:72 scale model kit is an ideal choice for military aviation enthusiasts, scale modellers and hobbyists seeking to recreate one of the most iconic heavy bombers of the Second World War. This historically significant aircraft, the second of Americas great four-engined bombers, was developed after the US Army Air Corps requested Consolidated Aircraft to produce B-17 Flying Fortresses. Instead, the company designed the B-24 Liberator, a distinctive aircraft with a longer range, higher speed and unique wing design.

This detailed scale aircraft model kit contains 258 precision moulded plastic parts, providing an immersive building experience for intermediate and advanced modellers. Measuring 298mm in length with an impressive 465mm wingspan, the finished model showcases the B-24s characteristic high-aspect-ratio wing, distinctive twin tail and detailed fuselage features.
